A California native, Dr. Ma graduated from UCLA with a degree in Human Biology and Society and a minor in Global Studies. Dr. Ma graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, OR. After practicing in the Portland area, Dr. Ma and her husband decided to move back to sunny California to enjoy the outdoors and spend time with family. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, Peloton classes, and cooking.

Dr. Ma was awarded the American Academy of Dental Research student fellowship and had the opportunity to present her research on the mechanism of orofacial and trigeminal pain to the American Academy of Dental Research and Oregon Dental Association.

Dr. Matthew Elston is excited to join the team at Magnolia Dental. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed his general practice residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Elston also completed an externship at a community health center in Plainfield, Vermont.
